We ventured into Florida’s unpaved trails, its lazy beaches, its forgotten caves and rediscovered the beauty and wisdom hidden in its natural areas. Within our state’s foaming beaches, sleepy marshes, and pausing fauna, we encountered an unhurried life. A rhythmic cycling of crashing waves here, a meandering creek there, and a cacophony of forest sounds, it was all telling us to slow down. So we listened.
